Offshore Fly Fishing

Offshore Fly

We offer opportunities to tangle with some offshore species on fly such as Amberjacks, Little Tunny, Cobia, Mahi-Mahi, King Mackerel, and Spanish Mackerel. Rigged with outfits from 9 wt. to 14 wt. we can generally handle anything that falls for the fly.

If the flats are not your game and you want to give your fly tackle a run for its money, try some offshore fly fishing. King Mackerel, Little Tunny, Dolphin, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Amberjacks and Bonito are just some of the species you can fish for with a flyrod here in Charleston.

Your guide will catch live bait and then use it to get the fish excited and feeding near the surface, then you make your cast to one of these monsters and hold on for a great fight on a fly rod.

Some of the best opportunities on fly in the deep water are during the summer. This is when all of the migratory species have shown up and are typically hungry.

This about finding the biggest, meanest, fastest fish available, getting them to destroy a fly and pull you all over the ocean. After battling with these fish, you'll understand why I refer to this as "Full-Contact Fly Fishing".

We can arrange for multiple boat Charters upon request!

It is customary to tip your captain if you are satisfied with your fishing excursion.

We can also arrange for your next corporate fishing outing with the help of the most qualified guides in the area.
